Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our well-baby services are regular preventive checkups designed to support your baby’s health and your journey as a parent. We focus on tracking growth, monitoring developmental milestones, and providing a space for honest conversations about feeding, sleep, and safety—all within a supportive, judgment-free environment.
-
We currently offer well-baby visits for infants and toddlers from birth up to 2 years old.
-
At this time, our well-baby services do not include immunizations.
While we plan to offer vaccines in the future, our current focus is on physical exams, developmental screenings, and parental support. If you are seeking vaccines now, we can provide information on where to access them in the community.
-
Well-baby visits are about much more than just shots! These visits are essential for:
Growth Tracking: Measuring weight, length, and head circumference to ensure your baby is growing healthily.
Developmental Milestones: Checking for physical and social progress, such as rolling, sitting, and early language skills.
Early Detection: Identifying potential issues like jaundice, hearing concerns, or feeding difficulties (such as tongue-tie) early on.
Parental Support: Discussing sleep patterns, safety, and your own postpartum well-being.
-
Following standard pediatric recommendations, we suggest visits at the following milestones:
Newborn: 3–7 days after birth
Infancy: 1, 2, 4, 6, and 9 months
Toddlerhood: 12, 15, 18, and 24 months.
-
Yes! Our team is trained to observe feeding sessions and identify common issues like a "tongue-tie" (a restricted lingual frenulum), which can cause difficulty latching, clicking sounds, or pain during nursing.
We can provide guidance and referrals to ensure feeding is comfortable for both you and your baby.
-
Please bring any notes you have on your baby’s feeding and sleep habits, a list of questions you’d like to ask, and your baby’s current health records if you have them.
-
We believe in "real support and zero judgment." In addition to well-baby visits, you can access our:
